Cynthia Minet: Migrations
DOCUMENTING FOR EXHIBIT
Visual artist Cynthia Minet works with recycled plastics and light to address environmental issues. Migrations is her installation featuring 7 life-size sculptures of roseate spoonbills — composed mainly from recycled plastic debris from Los Angeles, but also incorporating found materials gathered from the borderlands region of the Rio Grande Valley.
We produced a short documentary to accompany her installation while exhibiting at the International Museum of Art and Science in McAllen, TX.
