Tame Impala - Panorama Festival
Under the creative direction of Willo Perron and Xite Labs, we supported visual content production for Tame Impala’s headlining performance at the 2017 Panorama Music Festival in NYC.
THE story of the MUSIC
We started by breaking down all 17 songs into musical beats, identifying each song’s structure and pairing that with a complementary visual arc. Each song was ultimately heading towards a mixture of real-time generated visuals, image-based animation and live camera-feed effects — with a heavy influence of analog video design, thanks to Tachyons+.
